On Sept. 7, we held an event for policy makers focused on Broadcast Innovations at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. The event showcased virtual reality and drone experiences, as well as demos from NextRadio, NewsON, AWARN and the Olympics in 4k by NBC. In addition, the event featured panels on localism, innovation, remarks from Rep. Gregory Walden (R-OR) and Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI), as well as an interview with swimmer and U.S. Olympic gold medalist Allison Schmitt.
