PILOT announced Hour One, Backlight and TSV Analytics as the winners of the 2023 PILOT Innovation Challenge. The winners will receive a trip to the 2023 NAB Show, April 15–19, in Las Vegas, with exhibit space on the convention floor in which to demonstrate their products to potential customers, investors and partners.
The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that Lora Dennis, executive vice president of Digital Media for NBCUniversal Local, is the recipient of the 2023 Digital Leadership Award. She will receive the award at the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame Ceremony, held on the Main Stage of the 2023 NAB Show on April 17 at 1 p.m.
The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced that Beasley Media Group’s Michael Cooney and NBCUniversal Local’s H. Douglas Lung are the recipients of the 2023 NAB Engineering Achievement Awards. They will be honored at the We Are Broadcasters Awards, held on the Main Stage of the 2023 NAB Show on April 18 at 10 a.m.

The BEIT Conference at NAB Show will feature technical presentations on the evolution of next-generation content delivery systems for radio, television and the broader media and IT ecosystem. Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers President Renard T. Jenkins will serve as BEIT's keynote speaker at the conference's opening session on April 15 at 10 a.m.

The broadcast television and radio industry would lose $2.1 billion in digital advertising revenue annually, representing 6.3% of the industry’s total advertising revenue, if third-party cookies were eliminated today with no privacy-preserving alternatives, according to a new study released by Borrell Associates. Jim Brown, President at Borrell Associates, presented the study, commissioned the National Association of Broadcasters' (NAB) innovation wing PILOT, at NAB Show New York.
