Entercom has launched the Content Innovation Group dedicated to providing a richer experience for their listeners both on-air and via digital channels. The new team will focus on pushing out original content as well as national syndication of compelling local content.
Why is it important?
Entercom’s Content Innovation Group is widening the scope of radio. Liana Huth, vp of programming innovation at Entercomm told RAIN News, “People say ‘radio, radio, radio,’ but I think in terms of a multi-platform media company.”
This diversification of content production and delivery is enhancing listener experience and providing new opportunities for radio to excel.
