NBC 10 Philadelphia (WCAU) produce a powerful digital first multimedia story called Generation Addicted that explored the Philadelphia opioid crisis. The report told the stories of addicts, families, and law enforcement by blending video, text, illustrated stories and a half hour on-air special. NBC 10 won the 2017 Murrow Award for Excellence in Innovation for their work.
