Ramping up efforts to reach young consumers, NBC News in July 2017 became the first publisher to launch a twice-daily news show on Snapchat. New episodes of “Stay Tuned,” each of which are two to three minutes long, are published on Snapchat Discover weekday mornings and afternoons, and at 1 p.m. ET Saturdays and Sundays. Produced by a 30-person team, “Stay Tuned” includes four to five stories and is hosted by NBC News correspondents Gadi Schwartz and Savannah Sellers in more casual attire. “Stay Tuned” garnered more than 29 million viewers in its first month.
