What is it?
During this free, 2-day event, participants will:
- Gain hands-on experience with the ATSC 3.0 standard and the PILOT Home Gateway for developing Next-Gen TV applications in an interactive environment.
- Get ahead of the curve before Next-Gen TV app development becomes a part of your digital team’s work.
- Discover new opportunities afforded by the hybrid technology that combines over-the-air and broadband connectivity in an interactive environment.
- Be inspired to uncover new interactive ideas and services for Next-Gen TV.
- Meet others working to develop new applications for broadcasters.
- Tour the Akamai broadcast and network operations center.
Who should attend?
Broadcasters and PILOT members should send teams of 2 to 5 employees from their digital groups. Experience in the following areas should be represented on each team.
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Application development in a web and/or mobile environment.
- Content production and planning for an interactive and/or broadcast environment.
- Knowledge of the broadcast and digital businesses of the broadcast organization.
