The Raycom News Network (RNN) Digital Hub is a national news service headquartered at Raycom Media’s Montgomery, Ala., headquarters. The 24/7 operation creates and structures national and regional digital content to digital platforms run by Raycom stations across the country. Content produced by RNN is also available to other broadcasters. Currently, Raycom has a content-sharing agreement with Meredith. The staff works 365 days a year creating stories, videos and slideshows among other digital content. An expansion that will allow the hub to create more video-centric content is expected to be complete in January 2018.
RNN supports Raycom’s broadcast journalists and stations by producing relevant, compelling content to populate their websites and apps. RNN provides consumers with news stories of greater range and depth than they would otherwise have.
