The opening session includes the BEIT Conference welcome from NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt, special remarks from Jungsu Song, Vice President and CEO of the Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA), and the presentation of the NAB Best Paper Award, honoring the author(s) of the best paper published in the NAB Broadcast Engineering and IT Conference Proceedings.  Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers President Renard T. Jenkins will deliver the keynote titled, “New Tools, New Opportunities: Preparing Engineers and Technologists for Longevity.”

Technology Apprenticeship Program Graduate Presentations

Congratulations to the current participants of the NAB Leadership Foundation’s Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP) TAP is an educational technical program designed to train, inform and recruit a diverse workforce that meets the emerging technology and engineering needs within the broadcasting community. Students received valuable technical training and industry connections to become a part of the next generation of broadcasting. During this six-month fellowship program, participants completed broadcast technology and AWS cloud-based instruction and met with top broadcast technology talent and mentors to explore the advancements and career opportunities available in this field.

The SBE Ennes Workshop will span two days on April 14 and 15 with two separate educational tracks: RF 101 Boot Camp and NextGen Broadcast. Both will be held at the Westgate Resort, so it’s convenient to arrive two days early and attend the SBE Ennes Workshop before the exhibits open.
