DTS is one of the Xperi brands, which also includes HD Radio. AutoStage is an experience for the connected car where broadcast radio is combined with Internet content for an enhanced radio experience with metadata and graphics. The demonstration shows an extension of this platform to include games that can safely be played in the car and make the overall platform more engaging for car riders and by extension more compelling for automakers to include in their vehicles.

The NAB Technology Innovation Award was established in 2009. Entries for the award are submitted through a formal application process prior to the NAB Show, and the winner is selected by the NAB Technology Department. The award honors organizations that bring advanced technology exhibits and research and development demonstrations of significant merit to the NAB Show that have not yet been commercialized.
